bari is honored to participate in absurdity: in dada we trust, a collaborative multi-gallery exhibition hosted by the art center highland park.
the exhibition’s “…version of Dadaism reignites the reaction to the political divisiveness, increased violence, and tensions within communities seen today through a similar lens of propaganda. Chicago is the perfect place to react and act.”
bari’s work, all in, will be on exhibit. the show runs june 23-august 5 with an opening reception on june 23 530-8pm.

james + bari + rethinkreframe are thrilled to share that i picked these for you (high summer) and the sound were selected for inclusion in site:brooklyn’s drawing in all mediums exhibition running from july 27 to august 26.
the exhibited works challenge “foundational categorical binaries. While these pieces were submitted under the rubric of “drawing,” they are nevertheless marked by a capacious interest in texture, color, atmosphere, tactility, sensuality, painterliness, and organic forms. Moreover, true to the given theme of the exhibition, these drawings manifest across a range of media—pencil, oil and acrylic paint, watercolor, digital painting, clay, fabric, and beyond. Unbound from limiting categories, these works reimagine disegno through colore, collapsing the distinction altogether.”

to share that love, every thursday they provide free homemade dough and sauce to their neighbors and local community.
in celebration of pizza night, all are encouraged to donate to josé andrés' incredible organization, world central kitchen, which provides food to communities in need around the world.

telescript pharmacy — local artist gallery

james + bari + rethinkreframe join local artists at telescript pharmacy in deerfield to launch a very cool creative collaboration.
pharmacist brent edelcup, owner of the high-touch concierge pharmacy, created the gallery space inside the pharmacy to highlight local businesses and provide a distinctive and delightful experience for his customers. all work is available for purchase (through april 2023).
